Blount County Public Library will participate in Barnes and Nobles’ Mini Maker Faire for families, sharing some of the awesome making we do with LEGO Robotics, Makey Makey, art, science and more!
Library staff will also share plans for the library’s new maker space, the Learning Lab. While at the Maker Faire, if you mention Blount County Public Library Book Fair or present a Book Fair voucher, a portion of your purchase proceeds will go toward the children’s summer reading program at the library.
Visit with us on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Barnes and Noble Knoxville, 8029 Kingston Pike. Learn more and watch a video about B&N’s weekend Mini Maker Faire from Friday through Sunday, Nov. 6-8. There will be many activities: Watch demos in the Make Workspace; meet leaders of the Maker movement; make, collaborate, and share your own project.
