Even when health becomes compromised for individuals, remaining at home continues to be a high priority for most people. However, the next challenge frequently becomes finding the assistance resources in the community to be able to help make that happen.
“Understanding Home Health Care, Its Pro’s and Con’s” will be a presentation by Brian K. Tuggle on Wednesday, April 23, at 11 a.m. at the Blount County Public Library. The program will be co-sponsored by the library and the Blount County Office on Aging.
Tuggle will discuss the range of services available through home health care and will talk about the many options available from caregivers who can provide non-medical, personal care services to the elderly and individuals and mental or physical disabilities. Tuggle will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of home health care and will also give suggestions for what questions to ask to know the best options.
Tuggle is Owner/President of Personal Care Choices, located in Maryville. Since purchasing the company in 2003, Brian and his business partner have grown the business from 1 office/12 caregivers covering 4 counties in East TN to 3 offices, 6 managers and over 100 caregivers.
