Blount County Public Library is partnering with UT/TSU Extension to demonstrate the canning process. Participate in this live interactive online Zoom program at 7 pm Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Canning Clinic 102 will be an expansion of Canning Clinic 101 (Aug. 11 and Sept. 23, 2020). Watch online as Ms. Lima demonstrates canning a delicious apple butter using the water bath method. In this process, canning jars are filled with hot food, sealed with a lid, then submerged in vigorously boiling water for a prescribed amount of time.
