Do jellied cranberry sauce and cranberry salads adorn your holiday table? Try something new this year. Participants will watch and ask questions as Mary Beth Lima prepares and cans Cranberry Orange Chutney, a recipe developed by the National Center for Home Food Preservation.
Chutneys are savory condiments made from slow-cooked fruits or vegetables, vinegar, and spices. Use chutney as a side dish or spooned over turkey, chicken or pork. To add flavor to your ham, it can even be basted onto the ham during cooking.
