Dr. Daniel Klingensmith, Interim Vice President and Dean of the College and Professor of History at Maryville College, presents Creating the Modern Appalachian Landscape on March 28, 2019.
Dr. Klingensmith will discuss how federal government policies affected the mountain environment during the Great Depression of the 1930’s, literally shaping the landscape of today’s Southern Appalachian Mountains.
