Volunteer attorneys from Blount County Bar Association and Legal Aid of Tennessee staff attorneys will provide free advice on various legal matters.. This is a walk-in clinic, first-come, first-served, no appointments.
According to program coordinator Kathryn Ellis, attorney with Legal Aid of East Tennessee who is the Pro Bono Project Director:
The public will be able to seek advice on topics such as adoption, child custody & support, criminal defense, divorce, elder law, foreclosure, identity theft, personal injury, VA benefits, wills, worker’s comp, and more.
