Do you have legal questions or know someone who does? Don’t miss this opportunity for FREE legal advice for anyone, regardless of socio-economic status, on Saturday, October 15, 2016, from 9:00 until 12:00 noon in the Library’s Sharon Lawson Room and Dorothy Herron Room A. Meet with lawyers one-on-one. This is a walk-in clinic, no appointments.
The scope of the program is limited. The Free Legal Clinic will not create an attorney-client relationship unless separately memorialized by agreement of the potential attorney and client after the Free Legal Clinic’s conclusion. Therefore, participants should not expect that counsel would otherwise continue beyond the Clinic itself.
The program’s coordinator is Kathryn Ellis, attorney and Pro Bono Project Director with Legal Aid of East Tennessee. For more information regarding this program, please contact Legal Aid of East Tennessee at 307 Ellis Avenue, Maryville, Tennessee 37801, (865) 981-1818, or the Blount County Public Library at (865) 982-0981.
