Confused whether to select an Advantage plan or stay with original Medicare with a supplemental (Medi-gap) policy? Can’t decide which Part D plan is the best for you?
Plan to attend Medicare: Review and Part D Drug Plans on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Library’s Sharon Lawson Meeting Room.
Jeremy Long, D.Ph., at City Drug Store and Joani Shaver, Director, Blount County Office on Aging, will present information to help make decisions that are appropriate for you as part of this Focus on Seniors partnership between the library and the Office on Aging.
Shaver will discuss the differences between original Medicare, supplemental plans and Advantage plans as well as how to determine which are best for you. Long will talk about the prescription (Part D) plans and selecting one appropriate for your needs. Both Shaver and Long will remain after the presentation to answer individual questions.Participants are encouraged to visit www.medicare.gov prior to the presentation to review the latest information on Medicare and come to the presentation with their questions. Enrollment concludes December 7, 2017.
