Fiscal Fitness Series
Ever wonder what the benefits of banking are and why you should open an account? What are the different types of accounts available to you and how do you set one up? Perhaps you’re not sure what the differences are between a bank and a credit union. Are there fees involved? How is your money protected once you deposit it?
Personal Banking Optionswill provide a basic overview of these things and more related to banking and is open to any interested community member.
The Fiscal Fitness Series
This monthly series of five workshops was held from April through through August 2017, repeated from September 2017 through February 2018, and is back again in 2018! The programs are designed to help participants realize the power they have to make a difference in their family’s finances.
See the Fiscal Fitness series webpage or the Library’s Fiscal Fitness brochure for details about this series and additional resources.
These presentations are standalone sessions so that the public can enjoy one or as many topics as interest and time permit. Sessions will be on the second Monday of each month, at 6:30 p.m., in Dorothy Herron Room A or the Kathy Pagles Board Room at the Blount County Public Library.
Open to the public, this program is hosted by the Blount County Public Library, located
at 508 N. Cusick Street, Maryville. For further information about library programs or services, call the library at (865) 982-0981 or visit the Web site at www.blounttn.org/197/Public-Library
