Blount County Public Library is starting a Seed Library! How does a Seed Library work? With your library card, you borrow seeds, use them to grow plants, and return some seeds to share with others in our community. For this to work, the Library needs lots of help from you!
They are accepting seed donations now. When you donate, please label your seeds with the common name, and date harvested or purchased.
On March 1st, 2019, the Seed Library will open for you to check out seeds. In return, your heirloom, non-GMO, non-hybrid seeds will enable interested gardeners to check them out this spring! Please bring your seed donations to the Reference Desk.
Visit Blount County Public Library’s Seed Library webpage for detailed information!
